What to Do After Submitting My Application

**The only families completing this process will be those that have completed an online application prior to this OR have children currently enrolled in Head Start.**
Please call our office (504) 595-6430.  We will be able to provide you with a link to upload the needed documents to the current application we have on file for your family.  All of our applications are based on a family not just your child.  Please DO NOT send photos of the documents.  The document below will guide you on how to scan documents. 
SCAN the following:
  • Child's Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Income 
  • 3 Proofs of Residency 
  • Child's Social Security Card
  • Child's Immunization Record if not vaccinated in the State of Louisiana
  • Parent/Guardian's Drivers License/ State Picture ID
  • Legal or Custody Papers, if applicable
  • Child's IEP, if applicable 
  • Medicaid or Private Insurance card (Head Start applications only)
  • Car Insurance card (Head Start applications only)

*Incomplete applications will not be considered during registration for any of our programs.
*Income eligibility will determine a child's registration to the program within your zoned residency area.
