About Us
Mission
To create a parish-wide network of community support and resources to help children birth to five access high-quality, developmentally appropriate early care and education.
Each parish in Louisiana has an early childhood network that coordinates all early childhood programs receiving public funds. As a network, we collaborate with Plaquemines Parish Schools, Plaquemines Parish Head Start, and Plaquemines Parish Type III Centers. We work together to provide quality instruction and quality interactions within each of our classrooms. Our children are provided healthy, safe, and happy environments to help them transition to a successful Kindergarten experience. We are the Plaquemines Parish Ready Start Network.
